Reducing delays in high speed railways requires searching for efficient traffic management actions (dynamic speed updates, changing train sequence) with feasible speeds and headways, under the given signaling/safety system. We use an alternative graph model in a commercial MILP solver, showing large reduction of delays on realistic networks.
