Opening Event for «The Swiss Spatial Sciences Framework (S3F)»
Mandated by the ETH Board, the ETH Zurich, the EPFL and the WSL have set up a Working Group to combine their expertise to contribute to a sustainable spatial development. A three-part symposium is to be held in Zurich, Lausanne, and Berne to discuss responses to the question «What are the crucial research questions in the spatial sciences in Switzerland and in Europe?» The opening event takes place on 19 November 2009 in Zurich. Switching Trajectories in the Rhine Delta by Matanya Sack and Liesl Vanautgaerden. On 15 September the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) announced the winners of the 2009 Student Awards. Among them ranks Switching Trajectories in the Rhine Delta. Faculty advisors: Christophe Girot, professor for landscape architecture, ETH Zurich and Sebastien Marot, guest professor for landscape architecture, ETH Zurich.
