22. November 2024, 14:00 – 18:00 | ETH Zürich, HIL H 35.1
We live in an urban and urbanizing world. Intensifying urbanization processes take place across the globe, with cities playing a key role in formulating sustainable development initiatives. Against this backdrop, various D-BAUG institutes contribute their research and teaching to improve and support today’s and tomorrow’s urban realities.
Building on urbanization as a shared research topic, the Urban Research Seminar hosted by D-BAUG hopes to explore the variety of perspectives, concepts, and methods from which urban research is approached at D-BAUG and beyond. The seminar consists of short talks in which researchers can present and discuss their urban research agenda. It provides a bottom-up platform to foster transdisciplinary exchange between researchers who study technology, infrastructure, the built environment, nature, and humans in cities. All researchers at ETH are welcome to join.
