4 June 2025, 14:00-18:00 | ETH Zürich, Hönggerberg, room tba.
Join us on June 4, 2025, from 2-6 PM on the ETH Zürich, Hönggerberg Campus, for the final event of the E-Bike City project followed by an Apero. This event marks the culmination of an ambitious three-year D-BAUG lighthouse initiative, bringing together researchers from across the department.
Our team has re-imagined urban mobility, using Zurich as its case study, addressing the pressing challenges of population growth, limited space, and the urgent need to reduce CO2 emissions from transportation. The project’s innovative approach focuses on e-bikes and micromobility solutions to create a more sustainable and efficient urban environment.
Key Highlights
- Reinvigorating street space from parked cars to micromobility
- Insights on how redesigning streets can work for people-centric modes of transport
- Analysis of acceptance, impacts on other modes and urban greening
- Detailed demand model of the new environment
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore the science behind sustainable urban transportation and discover how our findings could transform Zurich’s urban landscape and that of other cities. Join us in imagining a greener, more accessible, and vibrant urban future!
