Prof. Galí-Izard defines landscape architects as translators of the potential of places defined primary by its geological and climatic conditions.
In her lecture, she highlights an ongoing research about a new methodology for practicing Landscape architecture, which reveals those potentials in the overlap of multiple milieus. The research focuses primarily on how to give voice to the living beings around us, and how to incorporate time, and natural processes, as the core of our profession.
